I went to the doctor today because I’ve had this awful hacking cough the past few days, and I have a friend who is just getting over bronchitis. I just have a bad sinus infection and cough though- they gave me antibiotics, a saline nasal spray, and a cough medicine for both the day and night. I’m very glad I went instead of letting it go away on its own, because it takes me a really long time to get to sleep because of coughing and I have an oral reading competition tomorrow. *laugh* It would be awful to break into a coughing fit halfway through my poem. The cough medicine seems to already have helped, although my cough is starting up again. (I took the medicine a bit before lunchtime). I have made *no* progress on Green Sweater; my mom made me go to bed early to help me get well.

Hehe I haven’t done much on Green Sweater. That 50+ on the color I want of alpaca is making my lazy, I tell ya! I’m going to try to start an account w/ PhotoBucket using my other email; I never got any replies when I signed up the first time. My pictures last time were a *bit* big! (I posted a comment in response to the comments I got on my last entry, by the way)

Well, I’m done with the front of Green Sweater, and am halfway done w/ one of the sleeves. The color I want of alpaca still says 50+, so I don’t feel too rushed. I finished Cabley Pillow in time; it was very cute. We went shopping at my friend’s B-day; I bought The Return of thr King soundtrack. It is wonderful! My evil CD player keeps skipping though, and it doesn’t play on my computer. I need to lug my kareoke machine back into my room!

People like my pictures! Yea! hehe :P Anyway, I’ve got to finish Cabley Pillow by tomorrow; that is my friend’s B-day party. Must knit tonight! I’m almost done w/ the front of Green Sweater; I only need to do *this much* knitting and I’ll be able to buy the alpaca from Elann! A few days ago I spun a bit of yarn w/ my drop spindle; I’ve gotten better. My yarn is much more consistent and is no longer half an inch thick! I’m not very good at pulling the fibers from the bunch (drafting?); I have to stop the spindle and yank on it. Maybe I’ll get a spinning wheel for my birthday- only four more months to go!
