I tried out for the school play yesterday. Metaphorically speaking, I got the part I wanted. (the lead is a girl who auditions for Romeo and Juliet and gets the part of a servant w/ 1 line) Anyway, I’ve 2 or 3 lines. Joy! *sarcasm* It is really a disappointment, because last year I had a really big part and my teacher told several people that I would have had the lead if I had been in Theatre II. Well, this year I am, and I got an immensely sucky part. SO on a happy note, we took TAKS Benchmark tests today and since it takes some people a long time we got to sit around doing nothing for an hour. I knitted a pair of sock earrings! It went really fast, although the first row was really hard for some reason. (on size 0000 needles) A lot of people didn’t believe I had made them until I showed them the pattern. My best friend thought I was knitting with pencil lead until she noticed the needles were silver! And I discovered that my science teacher knits! Cool! Off to work on Green Sweater- tomorrow (hopefully) I will have a picture of Green Sweater and Sockies!!

I finished the back of Green Sweater and started the front and a sleeve. I haven’t worked on Evil Hat or Cable-y Pillow. I ate some Junior Mints- they were good- and now I need milk. Off to knit on Green Sweater. I will have pictures- sometime!!

WHEE if I finish my green sweater, friend’s cable-y pillow, and brother’s hat or the purple scarf, my mom will let me order the alpaca on sale at Elann! Must go knit quickly!!! (oh- and sorry I haven’t gotten pictures up yet- I still haven’t gotten an activation email from PhotoBucket even tho I emailed them about it)

I restarted my brother’s hat. There’s nothing else I can do; it’s just annoying because I only needed to add about an inch to the bottom. I could’ve picked up stitch along the edge, I know, but it would have been noticeable, especially since it isn’t a fold-up brim. I have too many WIPs! I must promise myself not to start anything new until I finish something! I’m currently making:

Redoing Evil Green Hat
Magic Stripes sock
Cabled pillow
And I’ve got the plans (and yarn) to make:
Green cabled turtleneck
Cardigan for mom (Green again!)

Plus I have to re-sew the top triangles to the halter top I made last summer and put elastic around the lower part. (My gauge was exactly right, but the size I made was too big around the waist and too small around the chest )

I took some pictures of some stuff, but I haven’t gotten the activation email from Photobucket and I can’t seem to get the network between my computer and the fam. computer to work! I uploaded all the pictures from the digital camera, took down the firewall, set the picture folder as shared, and I still can’t connect to it! I’ll have to call my brother- he knows everything about computers.
