This new format is actually kinda cool! The font can be changed! So anyway, I washed my Magic Stripes socks in the washer and they still smelled. So I washed them with Woolite, and they still smelled. I asked on Knitter’s Review, and they told be to use Eucalan or my shampoo. I washed them in my shampoo, and now they smell like the haircut place. But at least they don’t smell like cooking wool! (And I realized that it isn’t entirely my feet’s fault- the ball of sock yarn I’m using now smells the same way, only not as strong.) I intend to make my rainbow socks with a seperate spot for my big toe from the Twisted Sisters Sock Workbook. I had to cast on 216 stitches for my summery top- makes me glad that I have to always make the smallest size! It was awful keeping count as I cast on. You know how a hunk of yarn always comes out when you’re trying to find the end of a center-pull ball? Well, used that whole chunk just casting on!

I have been trying to get on all week unsuccesfully! Well, on Monday I cast on a pair of rainbow socks and on Wednesday I started a summer top. I’ve gotta go right now- we’re going out to eat- but I’ll post again later.
