Over at the Blue Blog, there is a Spring Along going that I thought I would join since I’m making a cotton top and very bright socks!

I’m to the heel on the first Rainbow sock- I’m trying something different, the hourglass heel from the Twisted Sisters Sock Workbook. I’m finally working on my brother’s Christmas hat- I’ve got all of the stripes done and I only have a little bit to go before I start the decreases.

Today I had a little Snake Releasing Ceremony! I had 3- two Western Ribbon Snakes and one unidentified Garter or Ribbon snake. The two Western Ribbons I caught last year when my cat tried to eat them- he bit tail off of Hunter (he is an adult who grew a bunch over the winter) and probably broke several vertebrae, and trapped Tread (who is a tiny baby) between the treads of a car. Spring I caught just yesterday, when I saw him flipping all over the place to get away from my cat- he wasn’t hurt at all. (he is a little bigger than Tread). I figured it would be a good time to release them since I had seen other snakes about outside.
