I didn’t get to knit a single stitch tonight- I had play practice until 5:30, came home and ate dinner, left for dance at 6:30 and didn’t get home until 9:30, then I had to do my Algebra, a science question, and a History acrostic poem that I did over the wrong subject in class.
All I have tomorrow is play practice, so I should get some done on my pants and I’ll take a piccy of my summer top.

Just like me. There is a little ‘insert picture’ button. Apparently, that will work while typing in the link doesn’t. Took me long enough to notice that little feature. Although, I do have to mess around with it a bit before it lets me type anything in.

(edit- the yarn for the rainbow-y socks is Regia #5047- I got it from a Mary Maxim catalogue)
I’ve been working on a research paper for English- I’m on the outline. I keep wandering away to nibble on food, sitting down at the computer, and picking up my knitting. Anything but work on my outline! I just reached the halfway point, though, and now I won’t feel guilty if I stop and knit the rest of the day- the remaining half is for my partner, though I might do a bit just for my peace of mind.
I started my pants last night! I only needed 3 skeins for the smallest size, but I got 4 anyway so I could knit all four leg parts at once. This way I will know they are all the same size. Hmph- I can’t seem to type today- I keep hitting the keys next to the ones I’m typing and ending up with some weird words. I hope to be added to the Pant-a-Long. I was worried that it was too late, but I looked at all of the participants’ blogs, and some haven’t even gotten their yarn yet, so I figure I’m okay.
I went out and bought new yarn needles last night, and as I was getting them I told my mom that I was certain I would find the old ones as soon as I got home. Well, this morning I sat at my computer, and guess what! My yarn needles were sitting right next to my computer- both of them in their little package. Oh well- now I have even more extra!
I bought the yarn for my NoSweat Pants!! Woo Hoo! The color is Colonial- it is a dark blue mixed with a slightly lighter blue and gray. Very pretty. ‘Haley’ at WalMart wants to see them when thy’re done. It’s funny- whenever I take my knitting anywhere or talk about it people want to be able to see the finished product. The dentist wants to see my summer top, the orthodontist wants to see my green sweater (it’s too hot to wear now, though) and a cashier at WalMart wants to see my pants. I probably will never see her again though.
I finished my brother’s hat! I still have to weave in the ends (evil stripes!), which I can’t do yet because I lost my yarn needles several weeks ago. Oh well. Maybe when I’m at WalMart to buy yarn I can buy new yarn needles too.
