Well, now that the play is over, I will be able to come home from school at 3:45! Except, of course, for the fact that drill team practice is starting up again ’til 5:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Oh, and I have dance class after school on Mondays and Thursdays. Ah well, it’s still more time than I had during the play. Hopefully I will start knitting more effeciently, too. I only knit a few rows on my summer top today- I was working on a project for English. We read a book about the Holocaust, and we have to capture the essence of the book in an artistic creation. Well, the main character loses his faith in God because of all he goes through, so I made a menorah out of a mesquite tree branch and old rusty barbed wire. It is really awesome. I still have to do the quotes and summary though- I wish projects only consisted of the creative side that I enjoy and am good at.

I mowed the lawn yesterday (saving up money for sheep- *giggle*) for about 3 hours straight, and my back is really sore. The riding mower sure bounces a lot.

We got Top Play at the competition we went to yesterday! And I got an Honorable Mention medal- which was impressive for my small part. I worked a little bit on my Rainbow socks in between some of the other plays, but mostly I just chatted with my friends. I’ve started working on my summer top again- I kind of burned out on it after knitting it so much in the car over spring break. Next week only has 4 days- it’s Easter Break! (Spring Break and Easter are really close this year- even closer next year)
