All I have left of the summer top is the neck ruffle! I finished both the back and the front yesterday, picked up the armhole stitches last night, and sewed it together this afternoon. Sewing up isn’t really something I dread, though I do always worry that it won’t look right. I don’t follow any sort of directions in my sewing; I just kind of ‘wing it’. I can’t seem to follow directions in pictures, only in words, so the drawings of stitches never click in my mind. My seams turn out okay though. :)

This is my last week of school, and I’ve got exams tomorrow and the next day. I should be studying, but I don’t want to.  I want to just knit. :P Let’s see- tomorrow I have Algebra, theatre, English, history, and drill team. Thursday I’ve got Theatre (we’re presenting monologues; I’ll probably do mine Wednesday), more Algebra, more drill team, and science. Algebra, theatre, and drill team you can’t really study before (I already did the Algebra review). History will be easy. English will be harder- in addition to all the easy stuff, we have to analyze a poem. I’m worried about finishing- we’re keeping our normal schedule tomorrow.
