I feel better now, although I still can’t lean my head back, and I can’t turn it the left very well either. I did a little knitting, but I had to frog a bit because I obliviously knit past some of the increases. I bought some yarn yesterday; it was my first Ebay purchase ever. It was very stressful, because (just my luck) about 2 minutes to the end, my internet got really slow. So, as I was refreshing to see the time left, it didn’t show up, and didn’t show up, and finally I just went to the other tab I had open and put my bid in. Good thing I did, when that page finally loaded it said I had bid with 0 minutes left! I bought a bag (10 skeins) of GGH Safari $42.50, normally around $85, in the color rose, to make this:
from Rebecca Magazine number 25, design 34. I bought it at The Shagy Sheep in Lubbock, but I didn’t buy any yarn while I was there, since they didn’t have Safari in stock. Plus I don’t want to drop $85 bucks on yarn… I leave that to my parents, at Christmas. I need to stop starting new things!

Well, I worked on the cardi sleeve a little yesterday, but I doubt I’ll get much of anything done today- I woke up unable to move my neck. I finally got out of bed (I’m not sure how), but I still can’t look to the left, front, or back. I’m sure I look quite stupid walking with my head tilted to the right and down, but it doesn’t hurt that way. My dad felt my neck and said it seemed like the muscle had cramped up, like a charlie horse. :( Maybe it will go away and I can knit.

I haven’t been doing anything lately! It feels like this week has been months. The days go by quickly, but it feels like the school year is half over, while it has only just begun. I’ve had some interesting experiences already- my Spanish teacher’s keys were electrocuted yesterday! She was turning on the overhead and they got caught in some socket, looked blue from little sparks flying all over, and then had scorch marks all over them.  It was rather startling!
Anyway, I’m hoping to get some actual knitting done this weekend. I’ve been too tired to do any durning the week, but I have been yarn searching on Ebay!

Well, I haven’t knit anything the past couple days because of school. It’s not that I have homework (although I have a little Geometry), it’s just that when I come home I want to lay down and sleep, so I wander around the house and talk instead of doing anything productive. Hopefully weekends…

Global English is the gifted/talented english class. They used to combine English and Geogrpahy for g/t, have it double blocked, and call it Global (because of World Geogrpahy, I guess). So many people wanted to just do the English that they split it up, but they still call the english Global.

I finished knitting the back and other front in the car!
I got started on the first sleeve, too:
My first day of school went all right. I’m really going to enjoy creative writing; choir seems fun enough but I’m afraid it will conflict with my dance practices and competitions; Global english is a neat class, but I’m in a group with the most antisocial, controlling, obnoxious guy I have ever met; and biology will be interesting. I’ve got D lunch, though, which doesn’t start until 1:40 PM.  I hope tomorrow’s classes are enjoyable. Today went by really quickly; it was odd. Though I certainly won’t complain if my school days seem to be over quickly and I have a lot of weekend time.
