I’m partway through the armhole shaping of the cardi back, finished the armhole shaping on the left front, and started another piece- the right front. Done with the seed stitch border of that. I also wound up part of my frogged yarn into a nifty center-pull ball. (Who needs a ballwinder? I’ve got two hands and a toilet-paper tube.)

As I was knitting that, I suddenly had an urge to go to my WIP cupboard and start working on my sock. I’m about halfway through the heel gusset. (I really need to try different kinds of heels! I was planning on doing the hourglass heel for these socks, but it looked messed up when I did it.)

I like the Making Waves socks Sarah E. is knitting… I guess it’s still possible to join the Six Sox Knitalong, even though they finished a pair already.
I joined another knitting group- the Lone Star State Knitters. It’s a Yahoo group. Mostly adults, but oh well. It’s knitting!

Prince comes to greet me every time I go outside to take pictures of my knitting. And of course he gets to come in with me when I’m done.
