I went to Hobby Lobby and Michael’s today to look for sock yarn, but Michael’s didn’t have any and at Hobby Lobby there was very little there, and the only color that appealed to me didn’t have skeins in matching dyelots.
At Michael’s, though, there was a big sale bin, and I found some yarn a little bigger than sock but smaller than sport. 6 skeins of yarn for 75 cents each!

I also ordered some dpns- size 0, 1, 1.5, and 2. I got Inox (hehe I’m cheap) from Ozeyarn. Can’t wait ’til they come so I can see what my gauge will come to with this yarn.
I finally figured out what the ‘wrapping’ in short row heels meant! Yay! I’ll have to try that on my next pair of socks!
I joined the six sox knitalong so I can make the Making Waves socks. I’m not sure if I’ll make the Cloverleafs or not… the deadline for them already passed, and they’re not nearly as cute as the Making Waves, but I kind of want to do all six pairs just because.
Oh! and my rainbow-y socks are Regia Ringel color 5047 Papagei.
