When I was pushing down some stitches on the sleeve last week, the cord of my needle snapped. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get it replaced.

Someone got to my blog by searching for unobservant, which I found quite funny.

I haven’t been knitting- today I had to type a five page memoir over an event in my life (I did it over moving to Texas), I’ve got to write and illustrate a conditional statement book for Geometry, do my Geometry homework, study for the exam over the correspondence Health course I took over the summer, study for my Geometry test on Tuesday and my Bio test on Wednesday. And I’ve only just finished the third week of school.

I bought a dress for the homecoming dance, though I haven’t been asked yet. None of my friends have been asked, either, and we’re going to go as a group whether we’re asked or not.

I’ve begun to neglect my knitting again… homecoming is coming up, and I’ve been sort of caught up in normal teenage activities.  I have a biology latin quiz tomorrow, and I’m glad that I’m a quick memorizer- I hadn’t looked at them but once, maybe, and after 15 minutes of flipping through them I’ve got them all down. I’m not quite into the school mode yet, and block scheduling makes tests, projects, and quizzes seem to come upon me unexpectedly. I’m sure I’ll get used to it. I don’t have a date for homecoming yet, but I think somebody in Spanish intends to ask me. I hope.

I’ve finished one sleeve and done more than half of the second:
I’m getting really close to finishing this project and it feels good.
I bought some dark blue sock yarn to make a pair for my mom from Socks, Socks, Socks:
They’re knee-highs made on 0s, so they’ll take a while. Plus they’re at the end of the queue, after my multitude of WIPs.

My yarn came today! Well, it actually came yesterday, but there wasn’t anyone to sign for it and we had to pick it up today. I’m not going to let myself start this project until I finish some other things, though.
