Okay, bad picture. Still, you can somewhat see my progress. I knit a lot in the car on the drive to San Antonio.

Now we’re hoing to see A&M defeated in the Cotton Bowl (simply because it’s fun to see the Aggies beat) and Texas win against Michigan (both because Jeff might be going to UT and because we hate Michigan, the rivals of Ohio State)

The fourth square is done! The cables in the middle are the ones that remind me of longhorns. (Okay, the picture of the last square had a blue tint, and this one is yellowish. No idea why.)
I’ve been working on the green cabled sweater I started a few weeks ago. It’s only about five inches long, though.

Finished this one last night. I really like this square. I really enjoyed making it- watching the tree take shape, and I enjoy the finished piece as well. I started another last night; it’s supposed to represent pomegranates but it reminds me of longhorns.

I got a lovely bag of yarn and two pattern books! Woo! (Some Noro Kureyon is also on its way!) I can’t wait to get started on one of my new sweaters. (Though perhaps I ought to finish one of my old ones first…) In other exciting news, I got a cell phone! (*happy teenage scream*) My parents are awesome. It was a complete surprise, too. I’ve had to take my dad’s phone a lot lately when I’m with my friends and I have to borrow phones from people quite often when play practice is running early or late, etc. But now I’ve got my own! *happy*
