I got a Xanga account to talk to all of my school friends. Terrible, I know. Don’t worry, my blog won’t die. Though my knitting has, this week… No progress on anything, I’m sorry to say.

Made a bit of progress on this last night. I’d forgotten what fast knitting it was!

This is Cleo from Knitty. (the version with the back) I actually made it in about three days the summer before last, but it didn’t fit at all. I made the smallest body and the smallest triangle cups, but the body ended up way too big and the cups were way too small. (Hey, my gauge was right. I just didn’t actually read the finished measurements when I chose my size) So, anyway, I put some elastic around the top of the lace band thing and crossed the straps at the back instead of tying them at the neck. I took off the triangles and moved them farther out and then tied them up the middle so I er, don’t fall out there. I added black lining, too, because I had the cups a bit stretched and you could see straight through them. It’s a bit more risque then I’d like, even with all of my adjustments. I really should have made the bigger triangles- they were too small when I was 12, so of course they still are (more so). The body fits me better then it used to, though. I guess I’ve gotten wider.

I got my class rank on Thursday. I’m number 3 out of 869. Pretty good! My regular history and spanish classes bring my GPA (106) down because I don’t get the 10 points for PreAP (though I do get 5 points for the language) Number 1 and 2 are in all PreAP, I believe.

I started my Fry Up hat last night and finished it this afternoon. (Okay, ends are not woven in. Most likely never will be. It only takes a minute, but it’s torture anyway.)

What is this thing on my head? Perhaps a pie has been dropped upon me? (A pie with a point on the top?)

Once you add some eggs and bacon, it’ll be oh-so-irresistable.

On a couple of antibiotics now and taking sudafed for congestion. Fever nearly gone. Eye infection faded from left, getting worse on right. My right ear’s hearing is seriously impaired (hopefully temporarily). Makes me really thankful that I’m neither blind nor deaf… I feel significantly less intelligent not being able to pick up on half of what is said around me.

There aren’t any doctors open over the weekend, so I have to wait until tomorrow. My eye has been stuck closed every time I’ve woken up over the past couple of days. Throat still sore and full of phlegm. Temp still hovering around 100. Now I think I’ve got an ear infection to add to it. I’m miserable.
