Apparently my system has had quite enough of this lack of knitting, and on Monday evening I picked up my needles and started on Butterfly. I haven’t put them down since…
That’s my progress on the back. It’s going really, really fast. Heh, I feel like a real knitter when I realize that size 8 needles seem huge. The project I just finished was on 5’s, and the ones I’m working on now are on 0’s and 6’s. Crazy.

I had exams yesterday and today, and I have two more tomorrow. They’ve gone pretty well; I did mediocre in English with a 92, lower than my normal. Still an A, though. I brought my knitting to work on after exams.. people are pretty fascinated. Everyone seems to think it’s a hat, though, since it’s on circs. My friend Patrick popped the whole thing on his head and looked like an odd sort of jester. Very amusing, hehe.

I’m in another play now, The Hobbit. It’s very nifty. I have a small role again, but I suppose I don’t really mind. I’m one of the spiders in Mirkwood, and I’m the thrush that tells of Smaug’s weakness.

My brother Jeff is graduating from high school on Friday! My mom’s parents and one of her sisters (and her husband) came down (my whole extended family lives in Ohio, urgh) for it. My aunt was very curious about my knitting, so my mom wanted me to lay out a bunch of it for her to see.

That (except the battle helm) is only things I’ve made for myself. I’ve made quite a few other things that have since been dispersed and thus were not available for a picture. I like the look of my bed covered in FOs, especially with the knowledge that there are a ton of others out there too!
