That is the front of the Monk’s Traveling Satchel I’m working on, and one sad little bluebonnet.

Rainfall from last May to this March was essentially nonexistant, and the wildflowers this spring show it. The bluebonnet crop is scattered and sparse, but they have persevered. Only two mutated pink ones this year, but they are appreciated nonetheless.

Well, here are pictures of the fluffy  turquoise bag!

It turned out nicely, I would say. People at school liked it. (And look at my lovely fencing pants!)

I’ve made a lot of progress on my satchel as well. I went to Scarborough Faire with my G/T english class today and got a lot of knitting done on the bus. I should be finished with it by next week. Hopefully. If I can keep this consistent knitting thing going.

I’m going to move my blog, and I’m currently in the process of copying all my old entries. It’s rather embarrassing to read them. I suppose I was barely thirteen when I started this blog, a certain level of immaturity is to be expected… but I don’t remember myself sounding so trivial! I hardly even had anything to say about knitting, and I never had pictures. I’d like to think I’ve progressed somewhat…
