I’ve finished two GAAA squares in the past couple of weeks, and here they are.

This square was designed by Marian Tabler, she calls it "Tipsy Cable" and that seems to be a fitting name.

This one was designed by Ginger Smith and had a very interesting construction. The first section was knit as a column, stitches were picked up along the side, and then the second section was knit up as a column while decreasing along the edge of the picked up stitches. (I have no idea if that made sense, but I bet knitters can figure out what I’m talking about.) It doesn’t have a specific name, but I found myself thinking of it as "Chain Link" because of the side cables.

A very old project has resurfaced this week- this cabled sweater from Lion Brand. It uses Lion Brand Homespun and size 11 needles, so it seems to move very quickly. I finished the back this afternoon and will be starting on the front this evening.

On an entirely non-knitting note, I had a bit of fun with photo editing after going outside to take pictures of the finished squares.  I wish my hair was really this red!
