Hello, new blog. I don’t know how to work you all that well, but you are fresh and clean and a grand way to start the summer. You contain all of my old posts, of course, but this is almost like starting over.

It will still be plain, lacking in amazing website design- let’s just say that isn’t exactly my area.

It will not be filled with gripping tales of my visits to yarn stores and festivals, and I will not provide pictures of exotic animals that I have seen and touched.

I’m sixteen and live in suburbia, and while I have access to a vehicle and will be driving 45 minutes (each way) on the highway to school (beginning Monday), I’m not particularly hip in the knitting scene and would not know where to begin if I were told to find a yarny haven in the area.

I like knitting, and this organizes my sporadic efforts into a (nearly) coherent display of what I’ve accomplished. If it isn’t forgotten about, that is.

Anyone else notice that the list of archives looks almost like a sideways sine or cosine graph? It would be more consistent if my blog hadn’t been inactive for a couple of months…
