Prepare for a many-pictured post!

Last night I finally finished my Monk’s Travel Satchel. The ties add a lot; they bring it all together. It looks a lot more tailored and finished than it did before I sewed them on.

It’s quite nice to have a bag I don’t have to worry about holding onto! I’m very glad to have finally finished the satchel. That strap is over six feet long, though it doesn’t look it now that it’s all sewn up.

And here is my second FO of the day, my Lion Brand Cabled Sweater! I realized that I did not spread out the right side all the way, but it’s 95 degrees outside and there’s no way I’m going back out for another picture.

Yeah, I said 95 degrees. Yeah, I put on this sweater for a picture. How loyal I am to my blog!

Finished two things… on to another project, one I started about a year ago. Anyone remember this?

The back of Butterfy! I finished this piece last June, and last night I picked up the front to start working on again. I love the colors!

I learned several interesting lessons today, including that one should not place cotton bags onto dead grass containing burrs. One should also not put a sweater near a barbed wire fence on a windy day, as they will invariably meet.
